How can we effectively navigate the turbulent adjustments we see in our world, so that we are not consumed with fear and hopelessness? Can we come to live with a balance where we can be a part of our world but not be overwhelmed by its changes? I absolutely think we can. In fact, I believe we can live above the worry and concern to be channels of God’s peace.
Mediating on the book as a whole, I sensed the Spirit of God asking me, “What is the one thing you see as being most important for a leader to possess?”

Jesus willingly came from His heavenly home to become part of humanity. A sinless man entered a sin-filled world to make a way for us to be holy and at one with God. What a sacrifice!
How do we lose the zeal in life? The truth is, day in and day out, life can become rote and predictable. We see the same coworkers, tell our kids to get ready for school again, drive the same road to get to work and on and on! If we aren’t careful we can allow the routine, the decisions we regret, failed expectations and busy schedules that fill our life define us.
