My goal as long as I can remember through my school years was to have a successful career. For the most part I achieved those goals and have recently put my career on hold to focus on raising my two teenage/young adult children. I have been married over 20 years and trying to raise teens is one of the biggest challenges I have faced in my adult life. I’m so grateful that I have learned to lean on Jesus in all that I do to raise them. Growing up Catholic my whole life and having a strong Catholic faith, it wasn’t until I left corporate America in 2011 that I realized I did not have the relationship with God I so desired. I felt as though my faith was lacking. I started attending Bible Studies at a local church and am so thankful for God’s guidance in directing my life towards supportive Christian women. Their patience has been helping me grow in my faith and understand the power of God’s word and the peace He has been bringing me in my life.
Matthew 11:28-30 ” Come to me all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
