Even though I decided to follow Christ at a young age, I learn more and more what following God looks like in my life as God grows and shapes me through trials. I work as a nurse in a Medical ICU, and am constantly brought to my knees by the suffering I have the privilege of experiencing with my patients and their families. Although my career is a daily reminder of the immense amount of pain and messiness in this world, it is also a reminder that I serve a God whose love for us is more powerful than death itself, and that is what gives me hope.
