I’m married to my wonderful husband of 15 years and the aunt of 3 nieces and 1 nephew. We have two cats, Vaca and Jasper, and a baby tortoise. I work full-time at a boutique Financial Advisory firm. I have worshiped at my current church since childhood for almost 40 years. I have served as an elder and on mission committee, and currently serve on staff part-time as the Director of Congregational Song.
God has blessed me with a Christian home, and I was raised in the Reformed Faith. It’s difficult to pinpoint when I turned to faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but I know I was saved 2000 years ago when Jesus took my place and died on the cross for my sins. Through His resurrection and the work of the Holy Spirit, I am enabled to bear fruit, exhibit godly character, and use His gifts for the edification of the church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom and the Gospel.
My husband and I travel to Guatemala and Brazil for mission work yearly and as our schedules allow, to come alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ for the sake of the Kingdom as they strive to minister the Gospel in their communities. God continually shows us how He is working out His plans throughout the world.
The church, as the body of Christ, holds a special place in my heart. I cherish the community of believers in which I serve locally and abroad, where we gather to worship, receive instruction in God’s word, and encourage one another, as we together represent Christ’s love to the world.
