When I was 13 years old I read the book “Joni” and prayed the prayer printed in the back of the book. It was a quiet moment between me and Jesus. Without support in place, I eventually fell away from Jesus and by my freshman year in college I found myself in dire need of a recommitment. Maybe that’s why I am so passionate about Bible study and fellowship among believers—I know how easy it is to get dragged back into the world and all therein.
Today I am a working wife and mom, struggling like many other women to prioritize the things of God in my life. I still know how easy it is to let Bible study drop to the bottom of the list. But I also know how much regular study with other believers can enrich and edify my life. So, with God’s grace, I persist.
