I have been a Christian since childhood but embraced a deeper relationship with Christ after a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease and a struggle to adjust in early college. Since then, God has been faithful to lead me to a wonderful Christian community, contentment in Christ, and many days full of joy in serving at summer youth camps, YoungLife, and my church’s junior high ministries!
I am currently in my final year of my Master’s degree in Counseling, a couple years before which I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music Education (oboe and English horn were/are my instruments!). In my free time, I love being with family, playing and enjoying all kinds of music, being at the shore, birdwatching, and trying my best at creative hobbies like sewing, knitting, baking, and earring making. I like to think of myself as curious above all and I have a big passion for learning new things, especially relating to God’s creation in the natural world. I have been married for just over a year and find my marriage and future family to be my greatest joy!
