I have been married for over 20 years and have two teenage children. I was raised in a mainstream church where the Bible was not taught as the inerrant and inspired Word of God. Just after the birth of my first child, I was invited to attend a brand new MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group. It was through this wonderful ministry that I was introduced to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and was exposed to the truth and power of God’s Word. Not long after that, I joined my first Bible study and began to experience God speaking to me through the Scriptures. After participating in many Bible studies over the years, I now have the privilege to co-lead a women’s Bible study at my church. Without a doubt, studying the Scriptures is key to a deeper, stronger faith in the Lord and in His promises for us as believers in Jesus. Romans 10:17 – “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”
