I was raised in upstate New York by wonderful parents, who are dear, devoted followers of Jesus. My father was a pastor, my mother was a Sunday School teacher, and their joy for the Lord sparked a passion to understand His Word from the beginning. When I was six years old, we lost a close family friend, and the reality of his going to glory brought me to a lifetime desire to have a relationship with the same Jesus who saved him. I’ve never looked back, and the more I learn about Christ, the more delighted I am.
This journey with Jesus has been an adventure that has led me on many different paths: teaching Sunday School, volunteering in Youth Group, Bible School, various children’s ministries, serving on short-term trips to Trinidad, India, and Europe. I taught English (ELL/ESL) for ten years and loved meeting new friends from around the globe. No matter where in the world I’ve wandered, I have enjoyed meeting family from the body of Christ. I love hearing everyone’s testimonies of how God is at work in their lives. One thing I have learned over the past year is that He is always, always GOOD.
Currently I reside outside of Philadelphia with my incredible, kind husband, our brave, sweet daughter, and three dramatic cats.
