This week continues the series on prayer, and we really hope that you have been getting some intimate time with our Lord during the study. If you have missed any of the parts, please look in our archives to catch up. This one is really worth the extra time.
This week we are focusing on the commission to prayer embedded in Matthew 16:18-19. It’s a familiar passage to some of us, but the power hidden in these two verses can be life changing. You will hear the key points of this scripture echo the Lords Prayer-on earth as it is in heaven. Later in this lesson, we also start learning how to practically use scripture to create prayers that are God honoring and that show we want to get on the same page with our Lord.
Remember also, as you listen to this lesson, the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
